History of Pickle Ball
Pickleball was invented in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, Washington, by three dads, Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell, and Barney McCallum who wanted a fun game for their kids to play during summer. Using a mix of rules from tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, they improvised with paddles and a perforated plastic ball. Pickleball is now one of the most popular family sports played by all ages.
