Beach Access Is No Longer $Free.99
What on earth are these?

These my friends are called beach access tags. In some states such as New Jersey, Florida and Texas, just to name a few, some beaches require payment of a fee to access a beach. But it’s not exactly what you’re thinking. These tags sometimes include amenities such as parking or being able to drive on the beach. I personally have never paid to access a beach locally or internationally so I had to take to the streets of………..TikTok for the general public’s opinions.⬇️

“Nope I just pay for parking” - TIKTOK
“public beach? nah, beaches don't belong to anyone unless its private land” - TIKTOK
As an American, paying for beach access felt deeply un-American to me. Going into this topic, I fully expected Americans to reject the idea outright but the reactions were a mixed bag!⬆️⬇️
“it depends on the beach. at my favorite beach, I’d pay to access it.” - TIKTOK
“I already do.”- TIKTOK
