Are Airbnbs On Their Way Out?
On an episode of one of my favorite podcasts, The TIM DILLON Show, Tim brought up his feud with the short-term rental giant Airbnb, and how this organization might be losing its popularity.
His feud started when he received a bad review for leaving dishes in the sink, even though he paid a $400 cleaning fee and also allegedly breaking a house plant.
Does a $400 cleaning fee allow you to leave dishes in the sink?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Also, the smell of baked beans and fish lingering in the home was apparently not something the homeowner enjoyed.

But what makes a person even think about staying at an Airbnb when planning a vacation?
Group trips. Family groups or friends groups. Everyone can pitch in a few bucks to make the accommodations more affordable.
It makes sense.ðŸ§
Grilling burgers in the backyard; swimming in the lake; bonfires at night! All great reasons.
But when the fun ends and Aunt Liz, and Uncle Bart dart out early to avoid cleaning, then the problems start.
The ones left to clean or either too tired to clean or too tired to care.

…that even though you only have to be 18 years to have an Airbnb account…
…home owners can still set minimums up to 21 years old or as required by local law or regulation. I’ll take a wild guess and say that this change was put in place due to TikTok or Instagram kids trashing homes just for likes and subs.
